How do I find out if your services are right for me?
We provide a no obligation free in home consultation to determine what services you may want or need, answer any questions you have, and to determine which of our care staff would be your best companion.
How do you screen the people you send to my home?
The Manager and Vice President of Waverly Care interviews each caregiver personally, and we are the direct employer of the caregivers we send to your home. All employees must pass 2 face to face interviews, at least 2 positive professional reference checks, State criminal clearance, Penndot 10 year Driver's record, drug screening, county criminal record checks, the Office of Inspector General check, and infectious disease screening. We require a comprehensive orientation program and regularly review each employees performance. This process allows us control over the quality of services we provide to you.
What is the background and training of Waverly Care Companions?
Waverly Care employs people with certified nurse aide licenses, home health aides, and social companions with a variety of backgrounds. We provide ongoing training to our employees in areas including, but not limited to Alzheimer's disease care, skin care, person centered care, transfer techniques, infectious disease control, nutrition, elder abuse and neglect, incontinence and constipation, understanding pain, guidelines for performing personal care and end of life care.
How do I pay for these services?
Waverly Care will provide an invoice, and you pay us with a check, credit card or by ACH electronic payment. No money ever changes hands with our caregivers. If you have a long term care insurance policy, we will prepare and submit the necessary documentation to facilitate your reimbursement.
Will I be locked into a long term contract?
No Long Term Contracts! With only 24 hours notice, you can cancel or temporarily suspend service, or make schedule changes.
